Accidental Damage Cover to your Buildings Policy
Standard Buildings Insurance covers you for accidental damage to fixed glass such as windows and patio doors, bathroom fixtures and fittings. Full accidental damage cover will cover you for additional accidents in the home:
For Example:
If a hot pan burns your kitchen work surface this would be covered by Full Accidental Damage Cover.
For Example:
If you accidentally put your foot through the loft ceiling this would be covered by Full Accidental Damage Cover.

Accidental Damage To Contents Cover up to £100,000
Accidental Damage Contents Cover will cover you for accidental
damage to items other than Audio and Visual equipment, TV's, DVD
and Video Players or recorders and fixed glass, as these items are
already covered in our Standard Contents Insurance.
For Example:
If anyone spills wine on a carpet, Accidental Damage
Cover would cover the cost of having the carpet professionally cleaned, or replaced.
For Example:
If you accidentally knock over a china figurine and break it, Accidental Damage
Cover would cover this up to £250. For an additional sum you may be able to increase this limit.
For Example:
If you accidentally sit on a pair of glasses and break them,
Accidental Damage Cover would cover the cost of replacing them.
Personal Belongings Away From Home Cover up to £5,000
You can provide extra protection for your personal belongings by taking out
this additional insurance, which covers you for loss or damage for items which you
take outside the home such as:
Luggage, cameras, videos, jewellery, cash and credit cards.
This insurance covers you while you’re anywhere in Europe for any length of time,
and for up to 60 days anywhere else in the world.

High-risk property extension for high value items worth more than £2,000
High risk property, jewellery, precious stones, articles made from gold,
silver and other precious metals, clocks, watches, furs, photographic
equipment, binoculars, telescopes, musical instruments,
pictures and other works of art, and collections of stamps,
coins or medals.
Any of these items, which are worth more than £2,000, warrant special cover.
Each of these items needs to be individually listed on your policy.
They will then be fully covered for the amount shown. In the event of
a claim, you will need to provide proof of valuation. Your official
valuations should be kept up to date, to make sure you can claim for
the full current value of these items.
We also recommend that you take photographs of all high value items.
