Insure4retirement was founded in 2004 and specialises in providing home insurance for people aged 50 and over a market that is growing rapidly in the UK with more than 20 million people over age 50. We are based in Heron House in Christchurch Road Bournemouth.
We are majority owned by Equity Insurance Holdings and their ultimate parent company is IAG (Insurance Australia Group), the Australian equivalent of Norwich Union.
Equity Insurance Group is a large general insurance group based in the UK and underwritten by certain underwriters at Lloyds of London. They provide insurance to more than 1 million policy holders and through their Lloyds connection are a triple "A" rated insurance underwriter Insurance Australia Group Limited (IAG) is an international general insurance group, with operations in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Asia. IAG's businesses underwrite around $7.8 billion of premium per annum and employ around 15,000 people.
We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) and all of the insurers we use are members of the Association of British Insurers (ABI) or Lloyds of London.
